TaxAssist Accountants expands into the Republic of Ireland
We are pleased to announce that we have awarded the Master Franchise Licence for TaxAssist Accountants in the Republic of Ireland and our first shop front in Dublin is now open. We currently have 12 franchisees in the Republic of Ireland.
In February 2009 the Master Franchise Licence for the Republic of Ireland was awarded to Greg Murphy a Certified Accountant and Roddy Comyn a Chartered Accountant. Before joining TaxAssist Greg and Roddy built up a successful accountancy practice from a very small base into a firm with 300+ clients and turnover of €750,000. This has been converted into the pilot TaxAssist Accountants Franchise in the Republic of Ireland and operates from our Republic of Ireland support centre in Dublin.
Greg Murphy CPA, CBS (Director)
Prior to joining TaxAssist Accountants Greg spent 15 years working in professional accountancy practices that specialised in servicing the needs of small Irish business. Greg qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in 1998. Greg now dedicates 100% of his working time to the development of the TaxAssist network and brand in the Republic of Ireland. Greg is available at all times to provide support and technical guidance to our Republic of Ireland network.
Roddy Comyn BBS, FCA (Director)
Roddy qualified as a chartered accountant in 1975 having completed a training contract with Binder Hamlyn. After qualification Roddy spent a number of years working in the software industry and was very involved in a number of takeovers and mergers within that sector. After leaving the software industry Roddy built up a successful small practice, Roddy Comyn & Co. Roddy has extensive experience with Irish tax and company law issues. Roddy operates our pilot franchisee in Dublin and is also available to provide technical help to our network in the Republic of Ireland.
