TaxAssist Accountants is the largest network of accountants in the UK and now Republic of Ireland who specialise in providing bookkeeping, payroll, tax and accountancy services to small businesses. Each franchise owner runs his or her own business, and is supported by the TaxAssist Accountants Support Centres in Norwich or Dublin and network of over 185 franchisees.
You do not need to be a fully qualified accountant to join us as you will be the principal of the business employing accountants while you concentrate on growing your business. If you are concerned that you might not have the right experience, don't worry - every TaxAssist Accountants franchisee has access to a team of highly qualified accountants!
Every non qualified person who does join us will be expected to attain the Federation of Tax Advisers (FTA) qualification and to maintain membership through Continuing Professional Development.
Our initial and ongoing training and technical and marketing support is comprehensive and our aim is to help you achieve success. Unlike some of our competitors, we have no other business interests or our own accountancy practice to support in the UK. This means we can concentrate 100% of our time on our franchisees and their growth. Whilst the Dublin Support Centre does include an existing practice, one of the Directors dedicates all of his time to the franchise operation. We also ensure all of our franchisees are fully equipped to start their businesses, and as part of the franchise fee you will receive amongst other things a laptop pre loaded with the software you will require, an initial marketing campaign and 25 free leads. This means we buy the data, prepare and post letters and follow up for you. We also provide accommodation and all meals for you when you are on your initial training course.

If you have the ambition to build a substantial practice then we need to hear from you. You will need drive and determination to develop a broad client base, where you could be generating a turnover of £200,000 - £300,000 after five years, and much more beyond, employing staff to service the clients. To do this you will also need to recognise the importance of either operating from a shop front from day one, or moving to a shop front within three years of joining us.
